Investment Management
For clients who are looking for ongoing and continuous investment management and financial planning services, we offer an Investment Management relationship.
In this structure, we will design a customized investment strategy based on your investment time horizon, risk tolerance and cash flow needs. We will backtest the proposed strategy so that you will see exactly how it would have performed in prior years. In addition, we will project if your portfolio is likely to meet your short term and long term cash flow needs.
Once we have mutually agreed upon an investment strategy through a written Investment Policy Statement, we will implement the strategy, monitor and assess fund performance, rebalance the investments periodically and provide quarterly performance reporting and aggregrated account holdings.
As part of the Investment Management relationship, we provide financial planning advice on issues relevant to your situation. This can include general estate planning advice, insurance issues, tax planning, retirement and education planning and many other topics that come up over the course of the Investment Management relationship.
As a Fee-Only investment advisor, we use only no-load mutual funds, index funds, exchange traded funds (ETFs) and FDIC insured CDs or investment grade bonds. We will not try to sell you life insurance products or annuities of any kind. Last, we do not use mutual funds with any front-end or back-end sales commissions.
Last, Investment Management clients have complimentary access to the Client Vault, which is a secure online data storage site designed to store important documents such as Wills, Insurance Policies, Tax Returns and any other documents you may want to store and access remotely.
Under this structure, we charge a simple 1% management fee (which decreases as the investment base increases) with a $2500 minimum annual fee.
